Bailiffs

So the court appointed Bailiffs are coming. A while back i posted about a previous tenant who left a lot of debt. So Saturday we got another letter hubby rang and they said send your rent agreement council tax bills and other proofs through post to say your not him and we wont come.
Of course hubby said i don't think so , he said well u could be him and hubby said i am sick of ring people about this bloody bloke! So we now have to have the delight of them turning up at my door, as you can guess i am not happy about this!

Bargain Shop

Morning well i went out to get my prescriptions got a receipt for my meds so i can claim the money back when my prepaid card comes through as at the minute it costs me £25.20 a month that's £302.40 and the prepaid is £104 a year.  So after that went to Wilkos for a few bits. Then i went to one of my favourite shops which is value for money in Grimsby on Weelsby street. So the above lot i got cost me £22.

Shopping for the month.

 So all of the above were bought on Friday. The price for the whole lot was £116.00 .Now i hope this will last for the month .There's plenty of meat and fish.So here's what i bought.

Meat.

2 packs of gammon

1 pack of bacon

1 extra large chicken

1 large turkey joint cut in to 2

4 x 1 kg of minced pork

1 extra large pork loin cut in to 3

5 kg of chicken breast

The meat i got from Gary's meats at freeman street market.( always get it from there it really good meat)


Fish

2 packs of tuna steaks

1 kg cod loin

1 kg haddock loin

2 bags of seconds fish fingers ( very yummy)

dressed crab ( only me and my son eat this so was a little snack)

3 pieces of salmon

Now my oldest daughter is vegetarian i still have some things in freezer for her, she loves her veggies.So i will be making plenty of yummy dishes for her. The cupboards need stocking up a bit. I do have plenty of pasta and noodles .The  potatoes  i got from the market £5.50 for 10 kg of reds. I went in to farm foods and got a 3 kg bag of pasta for £2.49 and 5 kg for £1.50 ! bargain.

Now the fish came from where my son works.On Riby street at Riby street fish monger .Which is delicious fish.Since he stared there we have eaten more fish to be honest.Which is a good thing.

No i am hoping to keep the months food spend under £250 for the month, so we shall see how it goes.

What did we do today.

So first thing i had to go to the doctors .I am sure i am going in to the menopause ,saw the doctor yesterday went back today had to have a blood test for that and my kidneys . Then we went to Louth so my youngest daughter could get her haircut , there's only 1 person she lets cut her hair so every 4 -6 weeks we take her.So thought might as well have a look round the market .Got a lot of fresh food from there. Should see us through for rest of the week. Went in to heron got a few bits. My oldest daughter bought fresh flowers . Then it was getting too warm so decide to come home.

First thing to do was put the kettle on and have a nice brew.Then we got a few loads of washing done.Now We bought a unit from a junk shop a few weeks ago now every time we have gone to finish sanding it and spraying it green ( love the colour green it makes me feel happy ) we have either had to go somewhere or it has rained .So today it got finish well apart from the doors.There waiting to been sprayed as well. Now as the living and dining room are very narrow we have had to get buy things to fit.So that will be put in the room tomorrow and the doors at a later date when there done.Also tomorrow we will finish painting the living room.

Spending

I will admit I used to buy lots of things for the sake of buying .To say OOo look what i got today isn't it fab then it would be tossed to one side and forgot about.

When we first move to Lincolnshire i got pretty down i loved it but my family wasn't here ,so i would spend and spend .I would go to car boots ,charity shops etc. i would buy things to sell  on-line i did sell a lot , but i kept quite a bit . We had a spare room in the first home so i had quite a few boxes with stuff .Most of it was china cup and saucers . bowls , teapots etc.

Now when we was moving up the coast from where we was living my son had a bike accident. It was bad and so the spending got worse .It was the only i coped back then. There was so much stuff eBay selling got slow then 1 day  me and my son decided enough was enough and put it as a job lot and sold it really quick. He had bought some of the stuff so we split the money between us.

Then we moved to a bungalow as my daughter has mobility problems and my son was on crutches at the time. So the spending started again ,i could go in pound land and spend £40 in one go i would get back home and think why did i buy this , but i would still continue to do it.This went on for a few years.Then we were told that the landlord wanted the bungalow back for his daughter ( its well know in the village we lived in shes spoilt) so she got what she wanted and we moved in to a house which my daughter has to go up and down the stairs on her bum. So its been a year since we moved here its okay but we would be better in a bungalow for our daughters sake.

So back to spending we need to get it under control.Since the beginning of the year we have payed loads off ,should have a lot payed off buy the end of the year.

So i am gonna go back to my old ways which a hell of a lot of people do.I am gonna do a meal plan again .I used to do a months meal plan ,then i let it slide. i used to have 2 freezers but only have 1 so can't make lots of meals in advance like i did before.So am gonna save for an extra freezer. Plus if i have an extra freezer i can bulk buy.So that will be a plus. We need to save as much as we can ,hubby is on board which is a plus .

what do you prefer?

So do u prefer to be with your family coming and going or friends around you day in day out.
Now years ago when the kids were little there was always people coming and going at the house, it took me until i moved about 11 years ago,to realise a lot of the time i was just been used. The amount i spent on food was stupid! it would be lets go to yours a cuppa which would leading to feeding people. then after school which would then result in feeding extra for tea. They used to say to me dunno how you spend so much money on food. I used think in my head i do!!!!!. I should have opened my mouth and said something . it was also birthdays and Halloween, bonfire night  i'd spend loads so my kids had a good time. they'd turn up with extra people and say oh you don't mind do you. Me i'd go no its fine, idiot i am should have said YES i do mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .I remember one year we didn't have a Halloween party as i had to have an operation, well you would have thought i have committed murder way one mother was going on, she was ranting and carrying on saying well what am i gonna do now we like getting rid of kids for a few hours and it costs us nothing, so my husband turned round and said well looks like your gonna have to put your hand in your pocket and pay for it! You may ask why didn't you say anything to be honest i was just so used to saying yes to people who asked me but i should have been learning to say No!. When we moved things got better as there was no 1 to come round just the kids mates who used to go home for there tea!  . I have a good friend who i met when we moved . we text each other everyday to see how we are and have a grumble .That's how it is for now ,when we lived near her yes we saw her everyday. but she didn't expect things like others did.


So my answer is how it is now just family and when my friend can pop up and c us or when we can get to see her.It would be nice to live near her still who knows in the future.Would  i like to have more people in my life nope i am happy as i am.Until next time.

what a day!

Well yesterday started off good, for once i had a good nights sleep.thought i'll go have a cuppa then get me self wash, dress and start cleaning . But that wasn't to be .I got downstairs and had an asthma attack . Got that under control but i felt grotty for the rest of the day.Hubby comes in from night shift to drilling and hammering from next door so couldn't go to bed,as it was right underneath where our room is. Then  somewhere on the street a argument kicked off swearing and accusing each other of having affairs ,kids crying i thought can this day get any better!

So today our heck order came, the smell is amazing we got there 5-5-5. They are gluten free and low fat . So tonight we are having chicken Italia burgers .But what was really nice we got a free pack of Feck sausages.

My chair stinks !!!!!

So theres a comfy chair in my house and it rocks and reclines. Its a bit wore but well loved . But there is a BIG PROBLEM with this chair. My husband and son use this chair . They constatley FART IN IT!!!!! The poor chair it has to been sprayed with fabreze everyday . My son farts on it when hes asleep, when hes just sat i must admit he gets up and moves his arse away.But my husband oh no he goes it slipped out, no it didnt i saw the strain on your face pushing it out!!!!
    So i really wanna make a cover for the poor chair but i will always be washing it so i will have to think about it. I have never made covers for a chair so if i decide to do it ,it could take a while! or do i buy a new chair ?

Others people debt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So a while ago we got a letter from a debt company for someone else ,rang them up told them not our debt they dont live here .They said am so sorry u wont get another 1.
So today another 1 arrives same company for the same person but a different debt! Hubby will deal with it when home ,hes at uni at the minute.
Its saying on the internet that hes on the electrol roll here.My son phoned the nice people at the electrol roll he aint on it ,they did a wide search and hes not anywhere around here. They told us it 192 had not updated the system .We looked to see how much to ring them ,nearly fell throught the floor. We will send them a message through there contact us and see what happens.

I do love a good wordsearch,and other stuff.

i have loved wordsearches since i was a kid, i was in pounland other week with my hubby and kids. He said a bit loud bless him ( just found out is hearing is not good on his left side) who wants a wordsearch .Well i said oooooooo i love a good wordsearch ,he turned to me and said i know and smiled.So into the basket it went.I dont need expensive things from my hubby to show he loves me ,when i get a bit down and grumpy he knows a walk on the seafront will cheer me up.I love that he knows me well ,its the little things that make me happy.

Well we have started to decorated in the house. the walls are okay.As we pulled the paper of there is holes in the wall were it has been papered over .The chimney breast is much to be desired ,as we pulled the paper off we noticed it had been painted on.My heart sank as when we did the sunroom they had done the same .You may think whats wrong with that .Well as the paper came off so did the paint in parts we had to scrap all the walls in the sunroom with help of a steamer to get it off .The walls have not even had a base coat before painting.So more work to be done.Hopefully it wont take much longer .Oh and forgot to say some wallpaper was stuck up with silicone !.

I've thought time and time again what to put ,typed it and deleted it. So here's what happened .

In febuary was my youngest daughters 18th birthday .Then not long after we had to put our dog to sleep ,that was 1 of the hardest things to do . HE was 15  we had got him from a rescue centre  at 11 mths old . Then not long after that we got news we were losing our home, the landlord wanted it back for his daughter.So we had 2mths to find a new home .So were in our new home been here since may oh and its much cheaper .There's not much else to say.I could go more indepth but i'd only get more upset.So there you have it.

p.s forgot to say the weekend we moved i had an accident , i fell off a chair and hit my head on a granite work surface and fell on my arm . Ended in hospital came out with arm in a sling for a week and bad concussion . Still have bad days with headaches and neck pain which after a c.t have been told it will be bad for up to a year.

Goodbye Fashion world and i miss my cupboard

Well i have finally done it I am now free from the hands of fashion world .It has taken me a year of paying £96 a month. I feel so much better i will be ringing tomorrow now it is at zero and close it down.It feels a weight of me.Even thought i have other things to pay this was really getting to me as i could see the end was near in the last few months.When i payed the last payment i was so giddy.

When we lived at the coast we had this massive cupboard in the kitchen this is half of it . The storage was amazing .The top was full of tins and bottles etc. at the bottom one half had me plates, bowls etc the other half was toilet rolls .clothes liquid.I could stock up really well. Where i am now is so different i have no storage like this. Hope i find something like this in our next home.

the ignorance of some people!!!!!

Hi there everyone now before anyone thinks i am slagging it off i am not i shop there, pound land, 99p shop. Well today me and the family were in there shopping for gifts for kids at the food bank. We got some fab things for them.

     Now unknown to me a bloke had said to his son ewwww look at the cheap crap in their basket.My youngest heard him and gave him a look of disgust .Now when we was at the till his wife was next to us at the other till and the girl said u getting ready for Xmas with all theses goody's. We said oh we've done ours this is for the food bank. My oldest daughter said if parents can't  afford food then they can't get gifts .Now at the time i didn't know i wondered why she went bright red and put her head down.If i had heard him i would have said well if its that crap why have you got a basket full of stuff.!!!!! I was angry when she told me .
   I love going in theses shops. We got boys and girls toys and things for older kids.We can not afford much but we have more than some and i will do what i can to help.

What happened last Thursday and giving to the food bank.

Hey there all first please could people fill in my Sons surveys for his uni work. They are on the previous post.He would be most grateful for this.

Okay so last Thursday what a day well first we had the wood delivered.So this had to be moved and stacked so me and hubby set to work.

 Then we did some sorting in the home and getting the wood basket in the house its big so that's in the conservatory .Then i was sorting cardboard out for my oldest to box presents for her friends in America.So came through and heard a gurgling noise.My oldest daughter was having a seizure and smacking her head on the cupboard.So got her away from cupboard and shouted for her sister to get her dad.So ambulance called for and on our way to check her out and make sure their was no neck and back injury .The Paramedics and staff at grimsby hospital were amazing.

Then remembered while in hospital that the shopping was been delivered that night , now the delivery was not for us but for the food bank.We made in home in time and put it with the rest of the things we had bought.

So this is what we got everyone put in £10 for the Tesco shop so we had £50. We got cleaning and hygiene products as well as food,not a lot of people think of hygiene products imagine if you had not got any sanitary products or deodorant or toothpaste or toilet roll etc .Now we got selection boxes and chocolate calenders and other sweets.As we all know Xmas wont be long before its here .At least the kids can have a bit of joy at Xmas. We will be going this weekend for a few more bits then to pound land and other discount shops for a few toys to be given.My son interviewed one of the guys there and the story's he told him would break your heart. You don't have to give a lot ,give what u can afford .
